This 1998 Porsche 911 is a 996 Carrera 2, representing a significant era in the history of this iconic sports car. As a Carrera 2 model, it features the classic rear-wheel drive configuration that many enthusiasts prefer for a pure driving experience. The vehicle is powered by a 3.4-litre petrol engine, which provides the performance characteristics expected from a Porsche of this vintage.

The 3.4-litre engine is a notable highlight of this specific model, offering a balance of power and responsiveness that defines the driving character of the 996 generation. By choosing this variant, drivers benefit from the engineering focus Porsche placed on weight reduction and handling dynamics during this period. This combination of a naturally aspirated engine and rear-wheel drive layout ensures that the vehicle delivers a traditional and engaging drive, distinguishing it from other configurations available in the wider 911 range.
